Hi! I’m Margaret.

I’m a Taiwanese-American human living on unceded Gabrielino/Tongva Nation land.

I’ve dedicated my last decade to doing good work with humor and joy. That includes time spent shifting money to overlooked climate solutions, building a more responsible mineral supply chain, and hosting DC’s largest improv comedy festival.

In parallel, I work as an artist. Art seeds possibility — new and different dreams of being. These days, I create on stage and in thread.

values

My values guide me in every context. I use them to build trust and healthy relationships — with values as our shared foundation, we can establish mutual respect, generative conversations, and durable collaboration.

deep care

I am accountable to my self, my communities, and the world. I am a part of all of these spaces, and it is my great joy to live thoughtfully and attentively. I tend to the long-term health of any relationship I hold through the lens of deep care.

curiosity

I love breaking down why and how we work, along with upstream barriers and possibilities. I use curiosity as a tool to inform which paths I take, or find new ones — charting course towards different futures.

resilience

Despite our best efforts, inevitably, plans can go astray. So, let’s bake resilience into our systems from the start. If things head off-track, we’ll roll with those unexpected shifts so we can decide based on our values and feel confident about what’s next.
